Parent–Child Christmas Activity at STMC Marsaskala St. Anne Primary School
A parent–child Christmas activity was organised at STMC Marsaskala St. Anne Primary School, creating a warm and festive opportunity for families to come together. The activity was planned and facilitated by Ms Marica Borg and Ms Magdalyn Chetcuti, who welcomed parents into the classroom to work alongside their children.
Parents and children collaborated to create a snowman using socks and rice, encouraging creativity, communication, and shared enjoyment. The activity provided a valuable space for meaningful interaction and cooperation between parents and their children.
Following the activity, parents were invited to enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits in a relaxed and informal setting. Parents expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to spend quality time with their children, noting that such moments are often limited due to work commitments.
The activity highlighted the importance of family engagement within the school environment and demonstrated the positive impact of involving parents in classroom experiences.
