ILD 2026 CONFERENCE

The International Learners’ Directorate (ILD) recently hosted a conference bringing together educators and participants from across Europe to share experiences and ideas.

The event was opened by Director Mr. Kenneth Busuttil, who spoke about the ILD’s progress and future direction. Attendees also met the newly appointed Assistant Director, Ms. Montebello, who introduced her role within the Directorate.

Presentations throughout the day covered a range of topics, including culturally responsive leadership, the EU-funded ILD Connect project, and good practices from different education systems. Participants involved in Erasmus+ projects also shared their experiences, encouraging collaboration and exchange.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and continue strengthening inclusive education.
